CAN SUMITA COLOR PERFECT COLOR CONTACTS EITHER SUBTLY ENHANCE OR DRAMATICALLY TRANSFORM MY DARK BROWN EYES?
Yes. Sumita Color Perfect contact lenses can change the color of brown eyes. Colors include Sumita Color Perfect Blue, Gray, Green, Pure Hazel, Amethyst, Turquoise, and Brown, for a subtle, natural change. Sumita Color Perfect Honey, True Sapphire, Sterling Gray, Gemstone Green, and Brilliant Blue contact lenses offer a more dramatic look.
DO COLOR CONTACTS FADE OVER TIME?
No, the color does not fade.
DO YOU SEE THINGS IN COLOR WHEN YOU WEAR COLOR CONTACTS?
No. Sumita Color Perfect color contact lenses will change your eye color but will not affect how you see colors.
ARE SUMITA COLOR PERFECT COLOR CONTACTS SAFE?
When fitted, worn and cared for properly, color contact lenses can provide a safe and unique way to enhance your appearance. However, problems associated with wearing contact lenses (clear or color) and using contact lens care products may result in serious eye injury, scarring of the cornea, and loss of vision.
FREQUENT REPLACEMENT CONTACT LENSES ARE SUPPOSED TO BE DISCARDED AFTER A PERIOD OF TIME (1 DAY, 1 WEEK, 1 MONTH, ETC). CAN I CONTINUE TO WEAR THEM IF THEY ARE STILL COMFORTABLE AFTER THE RECOMMENDED WEARING PERIOD?

It is important to replace contact lenses on a frequent basis to help prevent discomfort, dryness, blurred vision or allergic reaction that can result from a build-up of protein and lipid deposits on the contact lenses.

Contact lenses should not be worn under certain general health and eye conditions. Only your eye care professional can determine if continued contact lens wear is right for you.
WHO SHOULD NOT WEAR CONTACT LENSES?
You should not wear contact lenses if you:
- Have an eye infection or inflammation (redness and swelling)
- Have an eye disease, eye injury or dryness that interferes with contact lens wear
- Have a systemic disease that may be affected by or impact contact lens wear
- Have certain types of allergic conditions
- Are using certain medications, such as some eye medications
IS IT SAFE TO SHARE CONTACT LENSES WITH OTHERS?
- No. Don’t share your contact lenses with anyone! Contact lenses, even if worn for cosmetic reasons, are medical devices that must only be worn under the prescription, direction and supervision of an eye care professional. Serious eye health problems may occur as a result of sharing contact lenses.
CAN I WEAR MAKEUP WITH MY CONTACT LENSES?
- Yes, but try to avoid getting makeup on your contact lenses. Always insert your contact lenses before applying eye makeup and remove contact lenses before taking off eye makeup. If you have sensitive eyes, special makeup for use with contact lenses is available

Contact lenses are not one size fits all. It is important to check with your Eye Care Specialist whether these parameters are suitable for your eyes before purchasing the lenses (these parameters cannot be changed):

WHAT DOES POWER 0.00 MEAN?
Power 0.00 color contact lenses or “Plano” lenses only change the colors of your eyes (for cosmetic purposes) and do not correct your vision
CAN I SLEEP WITH SUMITA COLOR PERFECT LENSES?
No, it is not advisable to sleep with any kind of contact lenses. Always remove your Sumita Color Perfect lenses before sleeping and put them in a lens solution or dispose.
HOW DO I CARE FOR MY SUMITA COLOR PERFECT LENSES?
Always remove your contact lenses and clean with multi-purpose disinfecting solution. Please refer to the instruction manual that comes in every box of Color Perfect Lenses.
WHY DO OTHER CONTACT LENS HAVE MORE OR LESS WATER CONTENT?
Having more or less water content does not mean one is worse than the other. Some contact lens wearers are more comfortable wearing thin, low water contact lenses, and others are more comfortable wearing thicker, high water contact lenses. Sumita Color Perfect lenses have a 38% water content in the middle range of low and high-water content. Always consult with an eye care professional for recommendations on what is better for you.
HOW DO I PUT IN MY CONTACT LENSES?
Before you start:wash your hands with soap (preferably non-perfumed, anti-bacterial liquid soap), then rinse and dry your hands with a lint-free towel.
Check that the lens isn't inside out:
To do this, just put the lens on the tip of your finger and hold it up to the light. If the edges flare out, it's inside out. It should look like a bowl with straight edges.
Using your right hand, gently hold your upper eyelid with one finger so you don’t blink or get your eyelashes in the way, and carefully pull down your lower eyelid with your other fingers.
Move the contact lens toward your eye steadily. Look upward as you place it on your eye, and slowly release your eyelid and close your eye for a moment to allow the lens to settle. Repeat for your other eye.
IMPORTANT: Never rinse your contact lenses or lens case with tap water.
DO SUMITA COLOR PERFECT LENSES BLOCK UV LIGHT?
Yes, Color Perfect lenses block UV-A 85% and UV-B 98%
CAN I REUSE THE SOLUTION IN WHICH I KEPT THE CONTACT LENSES?
No. The solution is effective and performs its function of cleaning and preserving contact lenses only once.
